Michelle Montoya, RN
Michelle collectively has over 15 years of experience in the medical and aesthetic fields. Michelle grew up in Albuquerque, is a Fire dept and military wife and has 3 children. She began her medical journey as an EMT. She moved on to be a phlebotomist and lab assistant for Tricore Reference Laboratories for 4 years. She returned to school to become a Certified Surgical Tech. With that certification she assisted in thousands of surgeries in the UNM-H operating room for nearly a decade. It was here that the idea of medical aesthetics sparked in her mind as she had a strong interest in plastic surgery for cosmetic and reconstructive purposes. She also acted as a didactic, lab and clinical instructor for the surgical tech program at CNM during that time. Michelle wanted to further her education and broaden her scope and returned to Nursing School. After graduating and becoming a licensed RN she attended National Laser Institute to obtain her Aesthetic Certifications. She has also had the opportunity to obtain additional training from some of the leading experts in the industry. There are no words to express Michelle’s gratitude for the amazing team she has found. Vivian Nguyen, PA-C | On-site Clinical Director
Vivian is our on-site clinical director, treatment provider, and co-founder of Virtue Aesthetics. Vivian was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, is married to her childhood sweetheart, and has one furry child named Kobe. She completed her undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at UNM, then proceeded to complete her graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies in Oregon at Pacific University. Vivian started her PA career in the Emergency Department about 6 months prior to COVID. After 5 years of working in the high stress environment of the ER, she decided to seek a field where she could still make impactful changes for her patients while integrating the creative side of her brain: aesthetic medicine is where she found solace. She is ecstatic about being able to provide a comfortable, honest, and safe space here at Virtue to help guide her clients back to their inner confidence again.
Trese L. Baca, MLE, PBT
Trese has been committed to changing both men and women’s lives through skin care and advanced aesthetic treatments since 2015. She attended Veterinary School for two years, eventually finding her passion in the Aesthetic Industry in 2014. Graduating in Aesthetics in 2015, she is committed to her ongoing education and training to strive to be the best Medical Esthetician providing the public with advanced knowledge on preventing and treating skin conditions. She has a collective 10 years of continuing education and is Certified in a tremendous amount of Lasers, Skincare, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, and in 2021 she became a MED-CA Phlebotomy Technician. She was Managing Partner in a Medical Spa from 2018-2024 and has knowledge of building and maintaining a successful business with lasting clientele, and maintaining a growing medical spa business. She is striving for her next ownership venture to be just as successful as her last 10 years in the Aesthetic Industry have been.
Ronald J. Escudero, MD | Medical Director
Dr. Escudero has practiced in Albuquerque, NM since July 1991. Dr. Escudero is double board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Escudero is a New Mexico native and spent 10 years away while serving with the United States Navy and retired as a Navy Captain. He also served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Escudero has over 30 years of experience treating patients with injectable fillers and neurotoxins.
